Laura Zeller certainly has managed to make her creative dreams come true . This die hard do-it-yourselfer/artist/crafter, most often prefers to don her favorite pair of overalls, scour estate sales and flea markets, and be knee deep in one of her many sewing or painting projects. Her brick and mortar storefront, Posies Boutique, located in the beautiful beach side community of La Jolla California, sadly closed its doors in March of 2007. Although Posies has already established itself as a charming one-of-a-kind place that delivers creativity, quality, and style, Laura’s ideas continue to flourish. In her quaint garden studio, close to her family, and pets, Laura can be found working away using her clever approach to re-purposing vintage treasures with a playful spirit. Embellished vintage chandeliers, hand-sewn baby and childrens clothes, beaded jewelery, whimsical hand-painted “Shabby Chic” decor, and pretty little accessories is what you will find in this original boutique. Posies lovely little childrens items have captured the hearts of many for years now, and years to come.
